The problem

Teachers spend hours
on resources. Not teaching.

“I spent three hours on Sunday making a question set for Monday's lesson. The kids finished it in fifteen minutes.”
— Secondary Physics teacher, Manchester
“Generic AI gives me questions that don't match the spec, or the wrong command words. I still have to redo everything.”
— Head of Maths, independent school

UK secondary teachers spend an average of 12 hours per week on planning and resource creation. Generic tools make this worse — plausible-looking resources that miss spec points, use wrong command words, or aren't pitched at the right level.

Print My Lesson is different because it was built by a teacher who marks the papers. Every output is anchored to AQA and Edexcel specifications, uses the right command words at the right tier, and follows a consistent, school-ready format.

Built by Alex
Maths & Physics Teacher, Kent
KS3–KS5 classroom teacher who got tired of spending Sundays building resources that students finish in minutes.

Q1State Newton's First Law of Motion.
Q2What is the unit of force? What is the unit of mass?
Q3 ★★★A 5 kg object accelerates at 3 m/s². Calculate the resultant force.
I DONewton's Second Law
Resultant force, mass and acceleration are linked by F = ma
Double the force → double the acceleration
Double the mass → half the acceleration (for the same force)
WE DOWorked Example
A car of mass 1200 kg has a resultant force of 4800 N. Calculate its acceleration.
1
Identify: F = 4800 N, m = 1200 kg
2
Apply F = ma → a = F ÷ m
3
a = 4800 ÷ 1200 = 4 m/s²
YOU DOIndependent Practice12 min
A 50 kg box has a resultant force of 200 N. Calculate the acceleration.
★★★A rocket of mass 500 kg accelerates at 12 m/s². What is the resultant force?
★★★★★A 70 kg sprinter reaches 10 m/s from rest in 1.5 s. Calculate the resultant force. Why is the actual force from their legs greater than this?

How it works

Three inputs.
One ready-to-use resource.

No prompt engineering. No editing generic output. Pick your context, describe your topic, and get something you can use in the next lesson.

01
🎯
Set your context
Select subject, year group, tier, and resource type. AQA GCSE Physics or Edexcel iGCSE Maths — it knows the difference, and adjusts automatically.
02
📝
Name your topic
Type a spec point or topic name. Add extra instructions if you want something specific — harder questions, a particular context, exam technique focus.
03
Get your resource
In under two minutes, receive a fully formatted resource with mark scheme. Export to PDF for GoodNotes, or copy and paste straight into your lesson.
What it generates

Everything you need,

Questions

Everything else you
need to know.

Is the content actually accurate?
Every resource is built on real classroom experience, explicitly linked to AQA and Edexcel specifications, and uses the correct command words at the right tier. Difficulty is scaffolded from foundation to stretch. It's exam-aware by design — not a generic chatbot guessing at the spec.
What subjects and exam boards do you support?
KS3 Maths (Y7–Y9), KS4 Maths (Edexcel iGCSE), KS4 Physics (AQA GCSE), and KS5 Physics (AQA A-Level). Chemistry and Biology are coming soon.
Can I edit the resources after generating?
Yes. Export to Word (.docx) for full editing, or export to PDF for printing and GoodNotes. You can also copy and paste directly into any document.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT doesn't know your spec. Print My Lesson is built by a working teacher and explicitly linked to the syllabus — correct command words, appropriate difficulty, proper formatting. No prompt engineering required. Just pick your subject, name your topic, and get a classroom-ready resource.
Is it free?
10 resources per month, completely free, no card required. Upgrade to Pro (£9/month) for unlimited generations and Word/PDF export.
Can my whole department use it?
Yes. The Department licence covers up to 10 teachers for £349/year — one invoice for your finance team, a shared resource library, and an admin dashboard. Email us at hello@printmylesson.co.uk to get started.
What format are the exports?
Lesson Slides export as PDF, optimised for GoodNotes and projectors. Question Sets, Exam Questions, and other text resources export as Word (.docx) or can be copied straight to clipboard.
Do you store my generated resources?
Pro and Department users get full resource history — every generation saved and searchable. Free users can copy or export at the time of generation.
