Question 1

An electron moves at 5.8×1065.8 \times 10^{6} m s⁻¹ at right angles to a uniform magnetic field of flux density 5.0 mT. Calculate the radius of the circular path of the electron, in mm. Use e = 1.60×10−191.60 \times 10^{-19} C and the electron mass m = 9.11×10−319.11 \times 10^{-31} kg. Give your answer to 3 significant figures.
